The visiascan is a complexion analysis imaging system that is able to measure certain aspects of skin quality, such as pores, wrinkles and texture. This patient underwent this procedure before commencing the Oralift treatment, and again three months into treatment. These results exhibit improvements in skin texture, wrinkles and pores.

In just under two months, the face has lost the 'tired look', the bags under the eyes reduced, wrinkle depth has reduced, and the patient says she feels 'more alive' now. It was originally thought that great results were harder to achieve with elder patients, but this shows that even at 76, the facial muscles respond quickly to treatment and brilliant results can be achieved at any age.

Although in this case the photography is not completely standardised and the lighting is different, when you look at the trends that we are monitoring the differences between the before and after pictures become obvious. Sometimes, the changes can be subtle with this treatment, but as they are noted trends, these differences are significant. The trends we monitor are the shape of the face, the complexion, aging triangle, lips and eyes. In this patient's case, you will notice that her cheeks have lifted and her lips are fuller, reducing the lines at the side of her mouth. The most significant change is to her eyes. The corners have uplifted, the eyes are wider and less puffy, the wrinkles have reduced in depth, the 'hooding' of the eyelid is tighter, and the asymmetry of the eyes is correcting, all in little over a month of treatment. The lifting of the soft tissues is the most significant effect of this non-invasive treatment, as this is reversing the aging triangle, an effect that is usually the goal of cosmetic surgery.
